Overview
The Simpson Road corridor is located in the northwestern quadrant of Atlanta about two miles west of the city’s central business district and runs between Northside Drive and H.E. Holmes Drive. A June 2006 redevelopment plan by the City of Atlanta’s Bureau of Planning determined that there is potential s for a significant turnaround for the corridor and surrounding neighborhoods within the next 10 years. The 4.2-mile length of Simpson Road is expected to grow in terms of residential units, retail and industrial square footage and transportation infrastructure.
